Get In Touch

I’m so excited to photograph your home! As a fellow airbnb owner myself, I understand what it takes to get your vacation rental ready to receive guests. However, as someone recently reminded me, “guest-ready is not the same as photo-ready”. I’ll send you all my tips to get your space as photo-ready as possible, and what to expect before, during and after a shoot.

FAQ’s

  • This depends on the status of your home. If you are undergoing a renovation project that is in its finishing stages, I would wait till you’re fully wrapped on the renovations and in the furnishing stage before reaching out. This is because renovations, more often than not, have unforeseen delays. However, if you have a date in mind that you know for certain your rental will be ready by, definitely reach out sooner rather than later.

If your home is outside of the Los Angeles area, I encourage you to book as soon as possible! This will ensure that I can arrange any travel as early as possible if necessary, to avoid any additional last-minute travel fees.

Most people book me about a 1-2 months in advance. **Please note that I am only taking on a very limited number of shoots per month in order to keep my current turnaround time. It’s always better to book sooner rather than later!

  • Yes! I totally understand that renovations sometimes take longer than you anticipate, or furniture deliveries are delayed. I do allow up to ONE free reschedule (with the retainer applied to the new date), as long as I am notified no later than 21 days before our originally scheduled shoot.

If the reschedule takes place within 21 days of our originally scheduled date, a $100 rescheduling fee will be applied.

If the reschedule takes place within 14 days of our originally scheduled date, a new retainer will be required for the new date.

  • Unfortunately, I don’t have the capacity to take on collaborations (ie. free trades) at this time. However, if your rental requires travel to get to, I’d be willing to either discount or waive travel fees as a trade for a one or two night stay*. If this is something you’re interested in, let me know in the contact form so that I can take that into consideration!

*This is only if I am traveling for work and need a place to stay for the night. I am not interested in scoring a free stay or vacation at your rental. I understand that you’re also running a business and should be compensated fairly if I am there for a vacation!

  • This really depends on your home! In general, I typically deliver a minimum of 25 photos, but if your home has more details or “moments” as I like to call them, you may receive more than the minimum I promised.

I don’t charge extra for any additional photos I deliver over the “minimum”. You’ll get full access to all the photos I’ve taken and edited, that tell the complete story of your rental experience. :)

  • To a certain extent! Depending on my workload at the time, I may allow expediting of your photos for an additional fee. Please reach out separately if this is something you’d like, and I can advise on what I can do.

Since it still does take me a certain amount of time to polish up each photo to ensure my highest quality of work, there’s a certain limit to which I can expedite it for.

  • Nope, not necessary! I do most of my shoots by myself, although I do prefer if you have a point of contact somewhere close by, juuuust in case. This could be a housekeeper, general contractor, handyman, or even a neighbor who’s familiar with your house.

If you have a self check-in process for your rental, just let me know the door code prior to our shoot, and I can let myself in and lock up after I’m done. :)

  • Yes, absolutely! If you’d like to be there during the shoot, that’s totally fine too! I don’t mind either way :) In fact, it’s sometimes nice to have company! Just a heads up, it does take me an entire day (most shoots take about 8 hours) to cover the whole house.

I’ll also be on the lookout for shadows and reflections in glass, windows, mirrors etc, so sometimes you’ll still be in the shot… even if you’re in a completely different room! So as long as you’re willing to move around with me, that’s totally fine by me ;)

  • Your photos will only be licensed for vacation rental listing use at this time. Should you decide to sell your home, the photos may NOT be legally used for the sale of the home without prior written permission and an additional usage fee. The photos will also only be licensed to you, the current owner of the home, and is non-transferrable to the new home owners.
