Hi! I’m Pam! It’s slightly strange calling myself an “interior” photographer, when my heart really belongs in the outdoors. Traveling and experiencing the outdoors is a huge passion of mine, and while I love venturing outside, I value the places I get to come back to after a long day of adventures.
My love for unique stays stems from my childhood travels with my dad who would intentionally seek out boutique hotels in urban destinations like New York City, independent bed-and-breakfasts on farms and ranches in New Zealand’s countrysides, and cozy cabins in the blue mountains of Australia (I have such fond memories of this!) — all before all this was even online!
Los Angeles, CA may be my home-base, but you may find me traveling all over the state/country for work (I’m also a traveling elopement photographer!) or just to explore the outdoors. If you have a vacation rental outside of SoCal that you’d like me to photograph, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
More About Venturing Stays
Venturing Stays was born after my own experience of setting up our own vacation rental. The blood, sweat and tears that we spent months pouring into our Big Bear cabin came to life through the photos we took when we were all done and dusted. It was a tremendous labor of love, and believe me when I say I completely understand and recognize the efforts that fellow airbnb hosts take to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for their guests.
I have an eye for the subtle touches in a home that elevates a guest’s experience. You know, the kind that makes you go, “Wow, they really thought of everything!” To this day, nearly 20 years later, I still remember the freshly baked cookies we walked in to once at a family-owned ranch in New Zealand, after driving an entire day to get there!
You’ve put so much thought and care into making sure your guests are looked after, and I want to do the same for you.
